The International Committee of Exhibition Exchange (ICEE) is a community of museum leaders and content creators who pride themselves on being risk takers. It is forum where new content can be shared, where ideas can be pitched and where partnerships are formed. Exhibition exchange is more than just traveling exhibitions, it is about big ideas, how we share them and taking risks, however that is interpreted.

Amanda and I first met in Milan in 2016. Since then, we have seen our industry change and adapt in response to social, political and economic upheavals, but through it all, museums have stood fast documenting our ever-changing world. As we look to the future, our goal for this Committee is to truly become global, to expand not only our membership, but our perspectives,and to provide new ways for our members to participate in these conversations. It is an honor, that both Amanda and I take seriously, to co-lead this Committee in such an exciting time.

We are excited to announce that our 2023 conference will be held this October in Medellin, Colombia! Co-presented by ICOM-Colombia, and hosted by Parque Explora, this conference will be a continuation of our commitment to Latin America. While the theme is still being workshopped, it will focus on new forms of community engagement, power sharing and co-creation. We can’t wait to share the full announcement and we look forward to seeing you all there!
